Living Well Pocket Park and Community Garden

Living Well Urban Farm hosted the community garden to provide garden plots, workshops and produce to neighbors in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood. Their mission is to educate and motivate, through demonstration, urban farming techniques. This work will exemplify that mission and create a large space for neighbors to gather and for the community to utilize.
IMPORTANCE OF THIS PROJECT
This project will accomplish:
- Providing a safe place for children to play while their parents are tending to their garden plots.
- Encouraging more adult supervision of children at play).
- Providing an area for kids for education and instruction.
- Defining the space as a community gathering space.
