Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of personal information entrusted to us by current donors, potential donors and by staff of not-for-profit agencies who approach us for funding, and the people that they serve.
Collection and Use of your Personal Information
Like all organizations with a web presence, KIB receives standard tracking data when you visit our site. Information from your browser, including your IP address, pages visited, the length of time you spend on our site and files you download is recorded in our website server logs. We use and analyze this data to develop site content and continue to provide you with a positive experience when you visit our website. However, no personal information is collected during the tracking process. Personal information is only collected at this site when it is provided voluntarily by an individual while participating in an activity asking for the information.
We will not sell, rent, loan or otherwise share any personally identifying information you provide with any individual or organization. While we strive to protect the personal information of our users, KIB will release personal information if required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary or appropriate.
Security of your Personal Information
KIB uses some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. We have put into effect appropriate procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Once you provide us with personal, professional or financial information, that data remains confidential.
Sage Payment Solutions is KIB’s online donation vendor. Sage Payment Solutions is a “Level 1” Payment Card Industry (PCI) solution provider, meaning that they are PCI compliant. Your transaction’s security and personal privacy is our priority. Sage Payment Solutions does not record credit card numbers or card tracking data (the CV2-three digit number on the back). We only record the last four digits (per PCI specifications) for use in transaction tracking and recording.
Sage Payment Solutions does not give or sell information to any third party organizations. To receive a detailed review of their privacy statement, please visit Sage North American Privacy Policy.
Covid Safety Guidelines
In an effort to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our volunteers, we remain in ongoing communication with the Marion County Public Health Department regarding the spread of the flu, common cold, COVID-19, and other epidemics. To date, the Marion County Public Health Department has not recommended canceling any KIB events.
To help protect volunteers from the spread of COVID-19 or any other illness, we strongly encourage all volunteers who are not feeling well to stay home and not attend a KIB volunteer project until symptoms have subsided. Please notify us by emailing volunteers@kibi.org if you are unable to fulfill your shift.
The Center for Disease Control and Marion County Health Department also recommend the following:
- Avoid close contact including handshakes, high-fives, etc. with fellow event attendees.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. Volunteers are encouraged to bring disposable wipes or personal hand sanitizers for their own use.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
As conditions develop, we will update our response and inform registered volunteers accordingly.
Thank you for volunteering your time and ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
