Home  /  News  /  Welcoming New Leaders to the Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Board

By: Jeremy Kranowitz

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful is excited to welcome four new board members whose experience, leadership, and commitment to community will help guide our work into the future. Each brings a unique perspective rooted in sustainability, public service, community engagement, and strategic leadership — all critical to advancing our mission to help people and nature thrive.

These new board members join KIB at a time of continued growth and impact across Indianapolis. Their combined expertise spans construction management, environmental law, healthcare and nonprofit leadership, and corporate sustainability, strengthening our ability to serve neighborhoods, protect waterways, and steward public spaces across the city.

Please join us in welcoming the newest members of the KIB Board:

Sabine Augustin

Sabine Augustin is an Enterprise Project Manager at Eskenazi Health and Chairwoman of the Haitian Association of Indiana. With more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit leadership, she brings a strong focus on equity, governance, and improving community outcomes through strategic collaboration.

Will Gardner

Will Gardner is a Partner at Taft Law and a leader in environmental compliance, permitting, and remediation. His work spans environmental law, energy policy, and natural resource protection, and he brings extensive experience advising public and private entities on complex environmental challenges and sustainable solutions.

Glenda Hernandez

Glenda Hernandez serves as Director of Sustainability Reporting and Compliance at Allison Transmission and is a recognized leader in inclusion, mentorship, and community service. Her background in engineering, sustainability, and nonprofit board leadership — combined with her deep commitment to service — adds valuable perspective to KIB’s environmental and organizational work.

Wes Runion

Wes Runion is a Project Manager at Shook Construction with more than 25 years of experience overseeing complex, high-value construction projects. He brings deep expertise in project planning, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence, along with a strong commitment to building lasting relationships and community impact.

As we welcome new leadership, we also extend our heartfelt thanks to John Moriarity, who concludes nine years of dedicated service on the KIB Board, and Ramon Morrison, whose leadership and insight have helped strengthen our organization. We are deeply grateful for their time, guidance, and commitment to Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
