Making history for a cleaner, greener Indianapolis.

Ryann and Kyle are here to show you what this Earth Month is all about. Hit play to see what makes this cleanup the largest waterway restoration in KIB’s history!

Over 5 Miles. 10 Sites. Hundreds of Volunteers. One City.

This Earth Month, we’re taking on the largest waterway cleanup KIB has ever seen. The Pleasant Run Earth Day Cleanup is a multi-day, citywide event focused on restoring over five miles of Pleasant Run and cleaning up ten sites across the city.

With the help of passionate volunteers, dedicated partners like the City of Indianapolis, and supporters like you, we’ll remove debris, revitalize green spaces, and protect our waterways for generations to come.

The cleanup efforts will kick off on Tuesday, April 15 with a family-friendly cleanup event in Christian Park from 1 PM to 4 PM. On Thursday, April 17, a special cleanup will take place at the Barth Ave Bridge in the Bates Hendricks Neighborhood from 9 AM to 12 PM, in partnership with the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services (BNS).

Finally, on Saturday, April 19, a large-scale cleanup will be held with eight cleanup sites, divided into four morning shifts and four afternoon shifts, allowing volunteers to make a significant impact on Pleasant Run’s overall restoration.

This Earth Month, Make Your Mark.

Whether you’re volunteering, donating, or spreading the word, you’re part of something bigger: creating a healthier, more beautiful Indy.

A Collaborative Effort.
