KIB coordinates corporate days of service for your team year-round. Your investment will directly return to you in increased employee satisfaction, productivity, and engagement. This is a unique team-building opportunity for your employees and clients to make an impact in our city.

We love working with our corporate partners to help people and nature thrive in Indianapolis by creating days of service that are meaningful and fun for your company. We provide the project, training, and tools; you provide the team and positive attitudes. This is a great opportunity for engaging your clients, employees, and their family members.

KIB PROJECTS
KIB staff are skilled and experienced in volunteer project management. Corporate Days of Service are typically hosted on weekdays, 9AM-noon or 1-4PM. KIB handles project planning, on-site training, and tools – you bring the team and positive energy. As our partner, you can select from a variety of opportunities:

GreenSpace Workday: Help eliminate blight and revitalize public spaces to create and maintain greenspaces and pocket parks throughout Indianapolis as part of the AES Indiana Project GreenSpace. 10-35 volunteers are typically needed.

Tree Plantings: Assist KIB as we plant, mulch, and water nearly 3,000 trees during spring and fall months. 15-100+ volunteers are typically needed.

Habitat Restoration: Remove invasive plants from riverbanks and streams in Indianapolis to open physical and visual access points along waterways while protecting native plans and improving urban habitats. 10-30 volunteers are typically needed.

Litter and/or Storm Drain Cleanups: Support KIB’s efforts to create cleaner, safer neighborhoods by removing litter and debris from streets, sidewalks, parks, and storm drains. These projects help prevent pollution from entering our waterways, provide neighborhood beautification, and protect local ecosystems. 10-100+ volunteers are typically needed.

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
We ask that as a Corporate Day of Service partner, your company make a financial commitment. Corporate partnerships begin at $3,500, with sponsorship levels based on gropu size (generally 10-100+ participants). Tree Planting projects may have a higher minimum sponsorship due to increased demand, materials, and staff time required to ensure a high-quality experience and long-term impact. In addition to a high-impact day of service and team-building, your company will receive valuable brand recognition through a diverse stream of marketing and promotion channels, as well as invitations to KIB’s annual Appreciation Event. We would love to design a special day of service customized specifically to meet your company goals!
