Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Announces Interim President

Former board and staff member, Chris Duncan, to serve as organization's leader during national search

 

INDIANAPOLIS (November 20, 2019) - Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB) is pleased to name Christine Duncan as interim president. Duncan will serve as the organization's leader effective November 19, 2018.
 
She comes to KIB with a wealth of knowledge in the areas of high performance leadership, team-building, and organizational systems. Duncan previously oversaw KIB's programs as vice president of programming and has served three years on KIB's board. Additionally, Duncan's experience includes serving as senior vice president of Emmis Communications/Indianapolis, where she oversaw six radio stations and two networks, and as principal of her national and international leadership consulting firm, Woodward-Duncan Consulting. A passionate advocate for the Indianapolis community, Duncan also serves on the board of the Indianapolis Zoo and the Nature Conservancy Indiana.
 
"With her deep knowledge of KIB and management expertise, Chris will be a strong interim president. We're very pleased that she is serving in this role," said Tim George, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful board chair.
 
Duncan will lead the organization as the board conducts a national search for a new president.
