Watering Alert: Week of June 11, 2014

Normal: Indianapolis received the recommended 1-inch of rainfall therefore watering is not needed.

Parts of Marion County received more than 1-inch of rainfall overnight last night and other areas received nearly an inch. With more rains expected today, there is no need to water trees this week.

Reminder:  trees need 15 gallons of water per week to thrive (approximately 1-inch) – especially trees younger than 5 years old.

The forecast shows warm and sunny skies this weekend but scattered thunderstorms throughout the week!
