Emily is the Director of Greenspace at KIB. She has been with us since February of 2013 working to build functional, resilient, vibrant pocket parks and greenspaces all over Marion County. As a wildlife biologist and horticulturist Emily works hard to highlight the importance of using native plants and trees to rebound the declining populations of beneficial insects and animals that make up Indiana’s beautiful natural fabric. While planning and planting are a big part of Emily’s day, there is generally always a little time for a funny cat video.
