Do you know of a remarkable tree in Indianapolis?
Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. is seeking
pictures and stories that highlight outstanding trees in our city. We
are looking for trees that are noteworthy due to beauty, historical
significance, personal significance, community impact, size, age,
uniqueness or any other reason.
The goal of this program is to increase awareness and appreciation of
Indianapolis trees. We hope this collection of trees will open your
eyes to the beauty of local trees; will empower you to share important
trees with others, and will allow you to locate and visit our city’s
finest trees. |
“Remarkable Trees of Indianapolis”, which is a part of
KIB’s
NeighborWoods
program—a plan to plant 100,000 tree in Indianapolis, is designed to
educate the public about the value of trees, and cultivate a greater
appreciation for the trees surrounding us each day in our urban
forest.
