RECYCLING TEAM! |
 The City of Indianapolis and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful,
Inc. are pleased to announce the
Event Recycling Team, a
volunteer-based effort to raise awareness about recycling in the community
and to provide citizens immediate opportunities to recycle. |
 ReArtFormation
II is Recycle Indianapolis' second recycled art program. This year's
program is a call for designs of pedestrian recycling bins for the Broad
Ripple Area. Amateur and professional artists, 18 years of age or older,
who live in Marion County, are invited to submit designs for pedestrian
recycling bins that will be made from materials that would otherwise be
disposed of in the trash.

Paper Recycling
In partnership with Kroger and
AbitibiBowater, you can support
KIB by recycling paper (newspapers, magazines, shopping
catalogs and mail) at all Central Indiana Kroger locations.

Where can I recycle phone books?
As of October 2007: Indianapolis
Recycled Fiber, will be accepting phone books at their facility at 1775 S
West Street. Phone books should be placed in the green collection bin marked
"Phone Books" only. Please do not place in the cardboard bin!

Recycle Indianapolis Program
Drop-off Locations
The Recycle Indianapolis
Program is a partnership between the City of Indianapolis and Keep
Indianapolis Beautiful. In 2006, residents recycled nearly 13
million pounds of material through this program. The program accepts steel
and aluminum food and beverage cans, empty aerosol cans, green,
brown and clear glass, #1 and #2 plastics, and newspapers.
There are 27 sites around the city available for residents to
drop off recyclables.
