The purpose of the Indy Free Tree program is to promote stewardship of
the environment as well as to educate the public of the importance of
trees and planting the “Right Tree in the Right Place.”
Since 1995, over 300,000
free trees have been given to the public through Indy Free Tree.
Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. and Indianapolis
Power & Light Company (IPL), partner each year to distributes free
trees to citizens and students of Indianapolis on Arbor Day. To
