What is SOLAR?
SOLAR, KIB’s Young Professionals group, brings together a cross-section of the city’s brightest young professionals who share pride for their city, a concern for the environment, and a belief in the importance of bringing different types of people together for the common good. Members believe that action is indispensable to making a difference. Our goal in Indianapolis is to ensure that our peers and the next generation unite to beautify the city, improve the environment and foster pride in our community.
We host events throughout the year, including educational programming, behind-the-scenes site visits, volunteer opportunities and special events for young professionals in Indianapolis. Some of our activities are open to anyone who is interested, though we also hold a number of exclusive members-only events.
The SOLAR Leadership Committee
SOLAR is led by a Leadership Committee that helps to shape the direction and activities of the group.
