Adopt-A-Median

Median Planting Guide

The following lists some of the plant material that might be used in street median enhancement projects. As plant selection is a very site-specific process, it is impossible to say that all or any of these plants will work in a given median situation. Some are low-growing while others will get tall and could obstruct traffic views. Each median site will be reviewed by Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and the City of Indianapolis to verify proposed plant selection and landscaping plans. This will prevent sight line problems or excessive maintenance headaches for your group.
