PR INTERNSHIP
Keep Indianapolis Beautiful’s Public Relations/Marketing Internship gives students the opportunity to explore career opportunities in the nonprofit sector and provide critical assistance on various projects.
Intern will assist PR staff in creating and distributing marketing materials, creating and editing press releases and external communications, and attending KIB beautification projects. Other duties may include performing administrative activities for the organization and staffing booths for KIB in the community.
- 15-40 hours per week
- Opportunity is unpaid
Most internships will include contact with board members, neighborhood partners, schools or donors. Interns will aid in various projects from start to finish and will be responsible for miscellaneous tasks. Interns will need to possess problem solving skills and be creative thinkers.
* Concentration in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related field preferred.
