What neighborhood do you live in?
Georgetown Crossing, North West Side of Indianapolis
What is the most inspiring place in Indianapolis?
Number 1 – my own back yard! But Number 1.2 would have to be Eagle Creek Park, a beautiful treasure of a park that lifts my spirits, heals my heart and teaches my mind something new every day.
How long have you supported Keep Indianapolis Beautiful?
I have admired KIB’s mission and projects for a long time, yet it has only been in the last 4 years that I have been able to get involved.
Why do you support KIB?
Indianapolis has been my home since 1986. KIB inspires and educates neighborhoods of varying diversity and age to plant trees and gardens, to pick up trash and litter, to respect themselves and their community.
What impact do you feel that the work with KIB has on the community?
Everyday it completes its mission – to KEEP INDIANAPOLIS BEAUTIFUL!
Why would you encourage others to support KIB?
With so many “negative” issues in the news everyday. KIB gives us a sense of making a difference… simply by showing up and doing!
