KIB Seeks Public Relations Associate

The PR Associate will work with the Vice President for Development and Public Relations and perform the following primary duties:

• Produce and distribute press releases.
• Produce and distribute KIB electronic newsletters.
• Oversee the design and production of brochures and other collateral materials.
• Develop and monitor content on KIB website (including video and photos).
• Coordinate booth appearances and materials.
• Represent KIB at events (including booths, Saturday morning projects and more) as needed.
• Provide all metrics for PR-related activity. Track and log all media, events, mailings and other exposure for KIB and its funders, providing any relevant reports.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Assist with social media presence as needed.

Candidate should have very strong writing skills. Ability to use graphic design software is strong plus. Candidate should be able to work in an energetic, fast-paced and fun-loving environment. Resourceful, creative self-starter with strong project management skills and detail orientation desired. 1-2 years of related experience required. Some evenings and Saturdays required.
