INHP and KIB to Give Trees and Workshop to New Homeowners
Thirty-six Indianapolis families will receive new trees today and tomorrow through a partnership between Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB). The trees will be distributed at INHP's Homeownership Center at Glendale (2605 E. 62nd Street, Indianapolis). Those receiving trees will also participate in a special workshop inside the Homeownership Center tomorrow, during which they will learn about the benefits of planting trees and tips for maintaining an environmentally friendly neighborhood.

KIB Receives $10,000 NeighborWoods Grant for 2012 Super Bowl Tree Initiative
Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. announced today that it will receive a $10,000 grant from Alliance for Community Trees and The Home Depot Foundation in support of its "2012 by 2012" tree planting initiative.
