Event Purpose

We recognize the significant achievements in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, engineering and construction, public art and development as well as honor and encourage those who have contributed to the quality of life through the enhancement and beautification of Marion County’s visual and physical environment.

Awards will be presented as a combined program sanctioned by twelve professional organizations in 2007.

Each applicant may submit projects for consideration to one or more of the categories. Designations of awards shall be made by each of the category sponsors. In addition, each category will make recommendations of projects to be considered for the Monumental Award.
The Monumental Award, representing the most significant visual and physical enhancement in Marion County, will be selected by an impartial jury of industry and community leaders.
