Which are better, dogs or cats?
It depends on the dog, and it depends on the cat. We have a cat that thinks he is a dog. I like that in a cat. We have a dog that would smoke cigars if he could; I like that in a dog. Generally, I tend to like dogs whose eyes I can see, that like me, and weigh more than 60 pounds.

I've worked with KIB for 47 years…. Really. ;)

What’s one thing you do every day to make Indianapolis clean, green and never mean?
I love my Prius, and I drive it every day. There are accomplished Prius drivers, who somehow average more than 50 mpg. I'm not there yet, but getting close!

What neighborhood do you live in?
I live in Watson McCord, which is graced by wonderful homes, and even more wonderful trees. We're just a five minute bike ride to the Monon, and just a short fifteen or twenty minute ride to Broad Ripple.

What is your favorite band?
Is there any other band besides U2?

What has been your favorite vacation?
Any vacation that involves a beach, nature, good food and art tend to be our favorite vacations.

What’s your favorite tree?
I love red oaks. Love 'em. The almost metallic red of the leaves this fall in McCord Park are something I look forward to every autumn!

What’s your favorite place in Indianapolis?
I love my home. A 1926 bungalow influenced by art deco and arts and crafts periods. We're so lucky to have it.
