KIB CLUBS
KIB Clubs Applications are now Available!
Over the last 6 months, KIB and an outside committee have reviewed the program and explored different ways to make it better for our partners. Some key improvements have been the addition a 3-year partnership between KIB and the school or youth center and a requirement to involve the community.
Please click here to fill out an application on-line or here to download and print an application. Read through it carefully as much has changed and some information required is different from years past. Applications are due August 27th, 2010.
Please explore KIB's other programs such as Adopt-a-Block, Great Indy Cleanup and Neighborwoods for this spring. Also don't forget, KIB is always looking for great Volunteers for great projects.
Background
KIB Clubs educates and empowers youth to beautify, revitalize, and create an outdoor classroom on the land surrounding a Marion County school or youth serving organization. In partnership with Purdue Extension-Marion County, KIB Clubs provides 'hands on' opportunities for students in tree plantings, creating wildlife habitats and gardens, litter abatement, recycling, and other environmental projects. KIB encourages youth to explore and understand challenges in the urban environment and to learn how to care for and improve their community.
