KIB to Plant More than 100 Trees along 38th Street with the Help of Volunteers

INDIANAPOLIS – (March 29, 2013) Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB) working closely with Councillor Janice McHenry, and the neighbors of Westside Indianapolis will plant the medians along 38th Street with the help of volunteers with Saturday, March 30. More than 100 volunteers have already signed up to help with the planting efforts, from I-465 going west on 38th St., to create a green corridor along this gateway into Indianapolis.

WHO: 
Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Councillor Janice McHenry and more than 100 volunteers
WHEN: Saturday, March 30. The planting will begin at 9:00AM. Median Captains and KIB will be meeting shortly after 8:00AM; volunteers will arrive at 8:45 a.m.
WHERE: Volunteers will be meeting and parking at the Marsh Supermarket located at 6965 West 38th Street
