KIB and Eastside Neighbors will Celebrate the Creation of a network of Community Greenspaces Today

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – (July 25, 2013) Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB) along with IndyTilth, Mapleton-Fall Creek Development Corporation (MFCDC), and other community partners will celebrate the completion of the four IPL Project GreenSpace projects in the Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood today. The celebration will begin with opening comments from project partners and neighborhood residents, then participants will take a walking tour of four project sites: Broadway Community Garden, Double 8 Rain Garden, Fall Creek Gardens, and Ruckle Street Pocket Park.

The celebration of these projects will highlight the creation of a tangible place for residents to enjoy and help foster a sense of community pride. Sun King Brewery and Nicey Treat will be providing refreshments at the celebration.
