Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Announces Staff Advancements and Welcomes New Board Members

INDIANAPOLIS – (January 13, 2014) Four members of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB)’s staff have been promoted into leadership roles; Nate Faris, Joe Jarzen, Beth Kloote, and Emily Wood will start 2014 in new roles. Additionally, Shawn Hitchcock, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, Michael Huber, Indy Chamber, and Rahnae Napoleon, The National Bank of Indianapolis, have each begun a three-year term on KIB’s board of directors.

Nate Faris has been promoted to Director of Community Forestry, overseeing efforts to ensure a thriving tree canopy and tree culture throughout the city. Joe Jarzen has been promoted to Community Engagement Director, where he will focus efforts on building neighborhood capacity around KIB’s work in Indianapolis communities. Beth Kloote has been promoted to Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager, concentrating on building relationships with corporate groups and foundations, and managing grants. Emily Wood has been promoted to Greenspace Director, using her background in wildlife biology and horticulture to incorporate native plants and their benefits into KIB’s placemaking work.

KIB is also happy to welcome Shawn Hitchcock, Michael Huber, and Rahnae Napoleon to the KIB board of directors.
