Description: As the Spanish immersion magnet school and located directly north of Arsenal Technical High School, KIB sees this as a great opportunity for Project GreenSchools to work with Spanish-speaking and inner-city youth. We have built Aldo Leopold benches and birdhouses at the school with the children while partnering with volunteers from State Farm. We have also laid new mulch in their playground to make it safer for the kids and planted numerous trees around the campus to help cool the building since there is no air conditioning right now. We will continue working with IPS #74 and our outstanding partner, State Farm.
