IPS #51

Location:  3426 Roosevelt Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46218

Description:  As a Lilly Day of Service recipient school, IPS #51 saw a whole lot of work get done in a very short amount of time.  We planted trees, shrubs and perennials all around the school focusing mainly on native materials, painted a world map on the playground and installed a vegetable garden.  In addition to LDOS, we have also worked with IPS #51 with an after school gardening program for special education students.
