Grant Writing Internship
Looking for a great opportunity to work in a dynamic nonprofit with a fun staff and get real-world experience? KIB has a great track record working with interns in our Development and Public Relations areas. Interns are a vital part of the team and get a great chance to work independently.
Intern will assist Development staff in researching fundraising opportunities, writing grants and reports, writing annual fund letters and attending KIB beautification projects. Other duties may include creation of press releases and staffing booths for KIB in the community.
15-40 hours per week
Opportunity is unpaid.
Most internships will include contact with board members, neighborhood partners, schools or donors. Interns will aid in various projects from start to finish and will be responsible for miscellaneous tasks. Interns will need to possess problem solving skills and be creative thinkers.
Great writing skills are a must.
