This Just In: TREES

Help the KIB Community Forestry team unload dozens of trees from nurseries across the midwest in advance weekend projects. Meet up at headquarters with these truckloads and get to work in our tree yard organizing by species and project, and preparing the fresh arbors for their impending delivery to a neighborhood near you. April Great Indy Cleanup

Saturday, April 29th will be one of KIB’s largest volunteer projects of the year. It’s the April Great Indy Cleanup! More than 200 volunteers will convene in BRAG neighborhoods — the area surrounding Binford Boulevard from Kessler Boulevard to 71st Street — to join neighbors in street cleanups and several other beautification projects. Braeburn Village Tree Planting

Help KIB and Braeburn Village neighbors on Indy’s east side beautify their surroundings while adding to our city’s overall tree canopy. KIB needs your help keeping the native landscape tidy at our Gold LEED-certified headquarters. Volunteers will be mulching and cutting back landscaping for the spring season, weeding, and learning about native plants and pollinators.
