Bill Brink Memorial Garden Restoration

April 2, 2014 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bill Brink Memorial Garden Restoration

Volunteers previously removed invasive honeysuckle on a two-block stretch of the Monon Trail, from 65th St. to 67th St. We now need volunteer help in cutting the remaining stumps to ground level using handsaws, then the stumps will be treated with an environmentally safe herbicide. Please join KIB in encouraging native growth in Indianapolis!

The area where we will be working has some moderate and steep slopes. KIB will provide the necessary equipment for this adults-only project, but please dress appropriately for the terrain and weather. Close toed shoes are required.
