DAVID FEINBERG
SOLAR Member Spotlight
Tell us a little about yourself:
I have lived in Indianapolis for 13 years, after graduating from IU, and work as a CPA at Crowe Horwath, LLP. When not working, my life is centered around my three passions: my two dogs, my wife and being a “born-again” environmentalist.
Why did you first support SOLAR?
I first supported SOLAR to become more involved in KIB, and this seemed like a great first step.
Do you have a favorite KIB experience or memory?
Some of my favorite KIB and SOLAR memories are educating KIB’s Youth Tree Team about financial literacy on a recent visit to my firm, our SOLAR small-group visit to the mayor’s office for some frank discussion about sustainability and also exploring (and purchasing) the “Dome Art” at last year’s First Friday gallery event. However, my standout KIB memory is actually my first: getting a free tree on Arbor Day on the Circle and using KIB’s advice to plant and maintain it.
What keeps you involved?
My passion for the organization’s mission keeps me involved. I truly feel that the KIB is making a real difference in our city.
Do you have a favorite place in the city?
I have two favorite places: Holiday Park where my wife and I got engaged and the White River State Garden bridge that leads to the zoo and provides an awesome view of the skyline.
