Description: Continuing with a 3 year on-going project, this is the environmental magnet school for the IPS district. In April, our workday brought together over 400 students, staff and volunteers to continue progress on the native “Gathering Garden” where classes can be held, mulched around the school’s flower beds and young trees and cleaned up invasive species around Cold Spring. We have been back to the school to continue our work in the “Gathering Garden” several times throughout the year and in October, we worked with Bishop Chatard High School students to re-mulch all of the trees in preparation for the winter season.
