What is your definition of beauty?

Noah, not Danny, Webster defines Beauty as "the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit." That's too many big words for me. The Motown group, The Temptations, told us in 1966 that "Beauty's Only Skin Deep, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." Not sure what Yeah, Yeah, Yeah has to do with Beauty but the song was a big hit. But the most prolific describer of Beauty was some character who, like Elvis and Cher, goes by only one name - Anonymous. He or she offered such gems as "The average girl would rather have beauty than brains because she knows the average man can see much better than he can think" and "Ugliness is far superior to beauty because it lasts."
As a follow up to my Blog last week in which I asked KIB web site readers to submit pictures of sites they considered worthy of inclusion in the list of The Top Ten Hidden Beauty Spots in Indy, this week I'm requesting that you tell us in the Comment section your definition and/or description of Beauty. Keep your entry to no more than 50 words and submit it by September 30. The Beautiful staff of KIB will select the most Beautiful entry and a prize of magnanimous value will be awarded to the Beautiful submitter.
Virtually any aspect of life, including Beauty, can be somehow tied to Seinfeld. So, as an added twist to this contest, special consideration will be given to entries that are expressed in Seinfeld-ese and/or reflect Seinfeld philosophy. For example, "Newman!!! There's no Beauty there" or "What's up with Beauty? You can't eat it, drink it or smoke it so what good is it?" Good luck and let's hear it for Beauty.
Dennis Brake is a recent enrollee in the very exclusive 9% Unemployed Club who finds himself too young, too poor and too full of energy to refer to himself using the “R” word. He volunteers at KIB writing Blogs and entertaining the troops. His son, Andrew, is currently a Program Coordinator at KIB and the future mayor of Indianapolis.
