Good Business(es)
Today is a fantastic example of how KIB and corporate Indianapolis partner and harness our energies for good. Program staff began rolling out to Brookside Park about 7 this morning for a huge volunteer day with Katz Sapper Miller. The accounting firm is shutting down for the day, and planting nearly 200 trees in the park and along a greenway to add beauty, value, and habitat for birds and wildlife. It's part of our aim to help the neighborhood create a conservation corridor! At KIB, we're opening up our vacant tenant space for a big brainstorm between members of 15-20 businesses who bring a wealth of talent to how art, nature and beauty can help accelerate progress in the Lafayette Square Area. Both events are fantastic examples of good business, and great businesses, uniting to build our community, to help its people and environment!
