Adopt-A-Median Internship

General KIB Internship duties and responsibilities:

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful’s internship program is unique because we are able to match the needs of students with our needs. Various internships are available year-round. Both part-time and full-time positions are offered and work schedules are flexible. All opportunities are unpaid.  Please review www.kibi.org for more specific program information.

All of our programs involve public relations, as we are all attempting to educate people about the importance of a safe and healthy environment. In addition, we are attempting to increase awareness about Keep Indianapolis Beautiful as an organization. All internships will also focus on the need to raise new dollars to help support KIB and its programs; therefore one of your duties will be assisting the program manager to accomplish this task.

Most internships will also include contact with neighborhoods, schools or donors of various community projects. Interns will aid in various projects from start to finish and will be responsible for miscellaneous tasks. Interns will need to possess problem solving skills and be creative thinkers.

Computer skills are a must. Each candidate must be knowledgeable about Microsoft Office. We are also looking for Spanish speaking interns to assist in our ongoing outreach to the growing Hispanic community in Indianapolis.
