General KIB Internship duties and responsibilities: Keep Indianapolis Beautiful’s internship program is
unique because we are able to match the needs of students with our needs.
Various internships are available year-round. Both part-time and full-time
positions are offered and work schedules are flexible. All opportunities

www.kibi.org for more specific program information. Computer skills are a must. Each candidate must be knowledgeable about Microsoft Office. We are also looking for Spanish speaking interns to assist in our ongoing outreach to the growing Hispanic community in Indianapolis. Specific Internship duties and necessary skills Intern will drive around checking up on medians, making
sure signs are in place, etc. S/he will also be developing a marketing
program for the medians, including but not limited to writing “cold call”
letters to potential adopters. Other responsibilities will include
following up with phone calls, responding to adopter calls, following
through with proper paperwork, refining the Adopt-A-Median brochure,
updating information for the website, and other related duties. This will
