What does it mean to be the Great Indy Cleanup Focus Neighborhood?
The Great Indy Cleanup Focus Neighborhood is a way for KIB to highlight the beautification efforts of two Indianapolis communities, one in April and October. KIB assists in organizing large scale clean ups with engaged neighborhoods, while working alongside residents, volunteers and community stakeholders. Projects are selected by the community for the good of the neighborhood. Litter and debris is the main focus of GIC but your project application can also include murals, invasive removal, tree planting, flower/garden bed prep and more. This is an opportunity to spur change in your community with the help of KIB and the City of Indianapolis.

If your project is not selected for the 2017 Great Indy Clean up, you can still host a neighborhood cleanup by visiting the KIB website to “REGISTER FOR A 2016 CLEANUP TODAY.”

Let’s keep Indianapolis beautiful together!
